"Our Experience with Lorrie Parajeckas as our Realtor
My husband and I were looking casually for a larger home in Winchester for a few years by browsing thru the internet. We finally thought we would like to see a house listed by Coldwell Banker. That is when we contacted them and we had the good fortune of meeting Lorrie.
Our first impression of Lorrie was that she was very pleasant and not pushy. She said she wanted us to first get an education on houses in general and that we would have to see several houses to get a feel for what we wanted. In the course of a year Lorrie was very patient with us and showed us several houses indicating the pros and cons; if my husband liked a house, I did not like it and vice versa. Lorrie took the time and trouble to try to understand what we were looking for, which at times even we were not sure of.
Lorrie was persistent and continued to be very patient with us. And finally she found us our absolutely gorgeous dream house. Needless to say we put an offer on this house. Lorrie represented us as our buyers agent and worked hard with us through the negotiation process to an accepted offer; she outlined a step by step procedure and gave us several contacts with home inspectors and real estate attorneys so we could choose the people whom we were comfortable with. We finally got our "Taj Mahal"!
But wait our real estate story is not yet finished. We still had to sell our current home which we loved but had outgrown. Lorrie outlined in great detail the things we had to do to our house so that it would show well, which included painting and de-cluttering. She also took the trouble of getting an interior decorator to get the right color combination. She took the trouble of staging the house just right, so that the end product was simply beautiful. We received an offer for our house that stemmed from one of the Open Houses Lorrie organized; Lorrie helped us successfully negotiate this offer, and the whole process was handled seamlessly.
To summarize the entire buying and selling process with Lorrie: She was with us every step of the way and she helped us through all those stressful months, during the negotiation process. She was always just a phone call away. Her code of ethics is exceptionally high and she always wants to do the right thing. We were probably one of her more difficult clients, but her persistence, honesty, and dedication to her job won us over and gave everybody concerned a happy ending.
