Meet Lorrie
Lorrie Parajeckas, Realtor®,ABR,
CHMS, SRES, GREEN
What matters most to Lorrie are
her family, friends and helping those that are in need. In fact, her dedication to others has been the
common theme throughout Lorrie's life as well as the foundation of her success
as a local businesswoman.
DRIVEN TO SUCCEED
From a very early age, Lorrie had
an innate desire to excel. From playing piano and singing to her love of
academics, Lorrie pushed herself to succeed every step of her journey in life. "For me, the finest reward comes from a job well done," Lorrie Says. "It gives
me the greatest sense of accomplishment." After obtaining her Associates Degree
early on in respiratory therapy and working in the field successfully for
several years, Lorrie switched directions and went back to school, this time
for her marketing degree. Lorrie is the type of person who doesn't settle for
second best, but rather pushes herself to exceed even her own expectations.
True to her nature, Lorrie graduated from Boston's
Northeastern University Summa Cum Laude. Achievement is something that runs in
Lorrie's family and she has instilled this into her son, Jason. Both her
husband Paul and son play golf professionally and have been recognized in New England tournaments and throughout the country.
"Lorrie's love for her Greyhound, Brandon inspired her to become an active advocate behind the recent position in Massachusetts to ban Greyhound dog racing."
GUIDING YOU HOME
Lorrie's successful career in real
estate is simply another illustration of her forward thinking approach and
tenacious drive. From the moment you meet her, it is apparent how much she
enjoys helping others with their real estate goals. There is simply nothing Lorrie
enjoys more than knowing she has made a difference in the lives of her clients.
In fact, these attributes are also what make her such a true professional. As a
premier real estate agent in the Winchester area, she gets up every morning passionate about what she does. When challenges
arise, Lorrie doesn't focus on the problem, but develops a clear plan on how to
solve it. Her focus and determination are what allow her to help her clients
achieve success time and time again.
"In her free time, Lorrie enjoys spending time with her husband, Paul & son Jason, on one of the great local golf courses."

LOCAL REALTOR® ACHIEVES
NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® GREEN DESIGNATION
WINCHESTER ,
MA . Lorrie Parajeckas with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage has been awarded the National Association of
REALTORS® [NAR's] Green
Designation, the only green real estate professional designation recognized by
NAR.
Lorrie achieved this prestigious designation
after completing 18 hours of course work designed specifically for REALTORS®. The courses were created in collaboration
with a multidisciplinary team of industry experts from across the country;
ensuring designees gain comprehensive knowledge of green homes and buildings
and issues of sustainability in relation to real estate.
More specifically,
Lorrie was trained in understanding what makes a property green, helping
clients evaluate the cost/benefits of green building features and practices,
distinguishing between industry rating and classification systems, listing and
marketing green homes and buildings, discussing the financial grants and
incentives available to homeowners, and helping consumers see a property's
green potential.
As energy costs
rise along with concern for the environment, homeowners are looking for
innovative ways to save money and live responsibly, said Dick Gaylord, NAR's
immediate past president. NAR's Green
Designation was developed in response to growing consumer awareness of the
benefits of resource-efficient homes and buildings. The designation helps
consumers who care about energy efficiency and sustainable building practices
identify REALTORS® who can help them realize their green real estate
and lifestyle goals.
As an NAR Green
Designee, Lorrie has gained the knowledge and the tools necessary to become a
trusted green resource for the
Winchesterarea.
